Our deepest heartfelt condolences to Cathy, Melissa, Marko , John, Dragan, Stevan & the entire Mrmak family. +Nikola’s passing is a devastating loss to the Serbian Communities of Sveti Nikola Cathedral (Nash Rd. Hamilton, Ont) and St. George Church ( Montrose Rd. Niagara Falls, Ont). Nada & I are truly blessed to call +Nikola & his family our longtime friends & eventually Kumovi. As former Director/Choreographer of St. Nicholas Folklore on Nash Rd from 1985-2007, I had the opportunity to teach folklore to Melissa from a young age to adulthood. How proud +Nikola & Cathy watched their daughter blossom into a dedicated Serbian dancer. +Nikola proudly was MC for many performances whether locally or out of town. +Nikola’s personally shined through his smile & humor and twinkle in his eyes. He had the ability to make everyone welcomed. Our Folklore trips were oh so memorable, full of love & laughter no matter where we went. We will cherish those memories forever in our hearts. Thank you Kum +Nikola for the beautiful memories. You will truly be missed and never forgotten. +MEMORY ETERNAL +VJECNAJA PAMJAT

I’m really struggling with how to put this all together in my head. As far back as I can remember, Nikola was always there … regardless of the event. You could always count on Nikola to show up with a smile and a joke or two. He was a good friend to the Kolundzic family and will be deeply missed. His dedication to His family, His community and His faith is the cornerstone of who Nikola was as a human being and I am incredibly grateful to have known Him. May His Memory be Eternal

Just want to express my deepest sympathies to the entire family. Nikola was a great guy, who got along well with everyone and was loved by all. He will be greatly missed but he leaves behind wonderful memories and connections not only to his family, but to all who knew him.
