Obituary of Ruth Marion Jacobs

JACOBS, Ruth Marion (nee Green)Peacefully at Henderson Hospital on Sunday, May 26, 2013 in her 88th year. Reunited with loving husband Leonard Eldon (2007). Dearly loved mother of Elaine and Bill Walker of Hamilton, Donna and Terry Martin of Grimsby, Len (Darlene Hardy) of Stoney Creek. Lovingly remembered by 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Phyllis (Earle) Dandie, Arnold (Fern) Green, Pat (Earl) Beatty, Bud (Helen) Green, Ross (Joyce) Green, Gordie (Terry) Green, Shirley (John) Furber. Dear sister-in-law of Ruby Gibson, Garnet and Audrey Richmond . Many nieces and nephews, friends and extended family were honoured with loving cards & personal notes from Ruth. She was a lifetime member of Eastern Star Historic Chapter # 194. Family and Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek Wednesday 2-4 and 6:30-8:30 p.m., Eastern Star service 8:30 p.m. Funeral Service at Donald V. Brown Chapel Thursday, May 30th at 10:30 a.m. Interment Hannon Free Methodist Church Cemetery. Family appreciates the loving care given Ruth by Idlewyld Manor Staff.
